The role of public relations in Librarianship

Abstract

This paper considers the role of public relation in Librarianship as well as its importance to the need of the library users. The study shows that public relations are essential for prescription, improvement, and efficiency of information services through the libraries. This study tries to indicate a biometric measure of the extent to which libraries are meeting the challenges of information provision to its users.
