A descriptive survey design was adopted for the study, and the total population of visually impaired students for the 2022/2023 academic session was 40. The entire population was sampled. Out of the 40 copies of the questionnaire administered, 36 were retrieved and used for the study. The data collected from the respondents were analysed using frequency counts and simple percentages. The results revealed that the visually impaired students primarily sought information on how to acquire more knowledge in their studies and career development. The main purpose of their information-seeking behaviour was to solve practical problems and enhance their career opportunities. Braille was the preferred type of information resource. The challenges encountered included limited availability of documents in Braille or audio format, a lack of computers with screen reader software, and difficulty in accessing information from the internet. The study recommended providing alternative formats for information resources and training on the use of available resources to support visually impaired students' information needs.</p>2024-12-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://www.fkjolis.org/index.php/fkjolis/article/view/64Assessing the Quality of University Library Services by Undergraduate Library Users of Federal University Oye – Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria2025-04-24T21:50:13+00:00Ganiyat Olayinka Belloganiyat.bello@kwasu.edu.ngO. The assessment of the services performance is important to justify and to know whether the library meet its set goals. This study examined the viewpoints of undergraduates on the level of service quality rendered at the Federal University Oye – Ekiti Library. The study adopted descriptive survey research design. The population of the study was the registered undergraduate library users at the Federal University Oye – Ekiti in 2023/2024 academic session. Questionnaire was used as the instrument of data collection. Descriptive statistics was used for data analysis. The findings showed that respondents have very high expectations regarding library services quality. The actual performance of library services was less than students’ expected level of service quality. The overall mean perception/actual performance score was low as compared to expectations. The study recommended that library staff prioritise efficient and quality service delivery, and the university management should consider improving library allocation for them to be able to upgrade their services to meet users’ expectation.</p>2024-12-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://www.fkjolis.org/index.php/fkjolis/article/view/69Awareness and Ease of Accessibility of Library Resources among Students of Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti2025-04-27T13:09:55+00:00Ayokunle Oluwadamilola Giwagiwa@gmail.comAyomide Ayoola Giwaaa.giwa@gmail.comJohnson Ayodeji Akereleakerele@gmail.com<p>This study was conducted to determine the awareness and use of library resources among students of Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan Ekiti (EKSPOLY).
